That’s why we are a member of Business In The Community (BITC) and the BITC Business Emergency Resilience Group (BERG). Our Chair Mike Still is also Chair of BITC Scotland, director/trustee of BITC as well as chair of the BERG group and our CEO Alistair Murray is a member of the BITC and BERG leadership team. As the African proverb goes: ‘it takes a village to raise a child’, it also takes a village, or businesses working together such as under the BITC umbrella, to raise cyber awareness and make society and organisations more cyber resilient.
Doing business in the 21st digitised century is all about trust, Digital Trust. Once that’s interrupted because of a cyberattack, it has a knock-on effect on society and the communities we live and work in, whereas secure and responsible businesses lead to more prosperous societies. BITC and BERG provide the perfect platform to collaboratively drive cyber awareness initiatives so businesses can simply focus on what they do best and thrive.
We support a number of initiatives under the BITC umbrella. Obviously, raising cyber awareness and driving cyber resilience is our natural habitat, which is why we contributed to BITC and BERG’s initiative ‘Would You Be Ready for a Cyber Attack’. This resulted in a brilliant detailed report about current cyber security practices of small and medium-sized business together with recommendations and top tips SME’s can take to mitigate cyber risks.
We provide products for start-ups and smaller accountants, insurers and retailers, medium-sized law firms and financial services companies, for schools and biotechs.
We’re trusted to solve cyber-security for major organisations across the public, insurance, financial services, legal, pharmaceutical and accountancy sectors.
