The Challenge
Before engaging with Trust365, Foilco had minimal cybersecurity controls in place — a situation not uncommon among established UK manufacturers who have historically focused investment on production capability rather than digital protection.
As a business with international trading relationships and a growing digital footprint, Foilco faced a number of compounding risks: phishing and email-borne threats targeting staff, a lack of visibility into its cyber exposure, and the increasing difficulty of obtaining meaningful cyber insurance without demonstrable security controls in place. With no prior cybersecurity solutions deployed, the organisation had no baseline from which to demonstrate cyber maturity to insurers.
The Solution
Foilco was introduced to Trust365 and quickly found a team that approached cybersecurity differently — with guidance tailored to their specific situation rather than off-the-shelf product-pushing. The reassurance and expertise provided by the Trustify team during the sales process gave Kevin Payne, Operations Manager, the confidence to move forward.
The implementation began with a phased rollout: piloting TrustiMail with a select group of users before deploying it across the entire business. This controlled approach minimised disruption, identified any teething issues early, and gave the team confidence ahead of the full rollout. Onboarding was managed by Trustify’s implementation team and described by Foilco as a smooth experience from start to finish.

The Results
Perhaps most significantly, Foilco was able to obtain cyber insurance for the first time — a goal that had previously been unachievable without the security controls that Trust365 provided. On the human side, staff awareness has also improved. Employees are now more vigilant about phishing emails and suspicious communications — a cultural shift that reduces the risk of successful social engineering attacks, which remain one of the most common entry points for cybercriminals targeting businesses of Foilco’s size.
